Team fortress 2 logo text character8/6/2023 ![]() ![]() Used a reference from one of my fav video games, no regrets. I felt it was perfect, a reference, not too long or short(half assed), speaks about me as a long-time gamer.įun Fact: I spent 5 hours researching into Ice-like weather phenemonon, cold scientific things, the coldest places on earth and names of said places, and then didn't use ANY of it. This is my fav item, using both nametag and desc. Īnd I thought my description was a bit wordy. Originally posted by - Zirkel:40 is WAY more than enough for names, even when writing something stupid like: "Player'sname's Rape Train" barely takes more than half of those characters.Īnd 80 is a fair amount, this shotgun took the total amount, yes I had to edit and alter my original description to make sense as well as fit it, but it still has everything I orginally wanted for a small description, no player needs a HUGE description or name for an item unless they are making a stupid joke about it. Why click and look if you weren't interested?įeel free to post this towards the higher ups so we can and WILL make this happen. Please share this around because I want this to change, my friends want this to change, and most of all YOU want this to change. If not for both then at least let our descriptions be 140 characters. ![]() In game items with set names have much longer characters in both their name and description I think it should be fair we get the option to at least have the description characters to be 140 at least. So I propose Valve increase the character limit to: In my personal opinion that isn't enough characters to get that great a name and description out of without cutting corners. If you're not aware it's approximatley 40 characters for the name tag and 80 for the description tag. But then there comes the name and description a great option given to us but it falls short in the character department. The same people always have that one item they love so dearly they personalise it as much as they can, with paint, strange parts etc. Now people in this game are witty and smart when they want to be. ![]()
